What are your fees?

Unveiled Counseling keeps its rates reasonable and competitive with the state average. Every client is responsible for full payment. Payment and co-payments are due at the time of the session by check, credit card, or cash unless other arrangements have been made.

Counseling Session (45-60 minutes) - $175

Document Preparation (50 minutes) - $175

IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback (30 minutes) - $100

Do you accept insurance?

Clients with insurance coverage are responsible to turn in receipts to their insurance company. Tara is able to accept Blue-Cross Blue Shield Insurance, when applicable, however it is your responsibility to ensure coverage. If the insurance claim is denied, you will be responsible for the $175/session fee.

We are able to provide you with a SuperBill to submit to your insurance company. If you prefer to have a Superbill to submit to insurance, please notify your therapist as soon as possible to ensure proper documentation from the beginning. It is advised that clients speak with their insurance company directly about reimbursement options. Please call if payments become a problem for you to discuss options.

What do I need to do to move or cancel an appointment?

As a courtesy, we ask that you cancel appointments no later than 24 hours in advance. However, when that is not possible, please call or text the therapist as soon as you know. Illness and family emergency are acceptable reasons to cancel. In the event of a late cancellation (when 24 hours is not given) a late cancellation fee will be due in the amount of the scheduled session. In the case of a no-show (when a client does not notify before the missed session) you will be charged a no-show fee of the amount of the scheduled session and will be charged on the day of the scheduled session. The therapist reserves the right to cancel sessions in the case of personal or professional time conflicts but will try to offer a reasonable alternative time of the cancelled appointment.

What if you or someone you love is in a state of emergency?

If you or someone you love is currently experiencing active suicidal thoughts, ideations, or self-harming behaviors, we recommendation that you seek a higher level of care than what is offered at Unveiled Counseling. Please call 911 or visit your local ER for immediate assistance.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment can be done using the client portal. After you register as a new patient and fill out the forms, click on the calendar icon and pick a date and time that works for you. You will be required to enter a valid credit card into the billing section before being able to view the calendar and schedule an appointment. Please know that your card will not be charged until the day of your appointment.

How frequently will we meet?

Clients are generally seen weekly or bi-weekly at the beginning of therapy. You may choose to transition to less frequent sessions as change and growth occur. You have the right to control the frequency and duration of therapy. You may discontinue treatment at any time, but please discuss any decisions with your therapist to allow for appropriate closure of therapy. After closing, your file will be formally closed. You have a right to return to therapy again at any future date.
